Kalender Jawi started from a small frustration: checking a Javanese date meant digging through paper calendars or websites that disagreed with each other about the pasaran.
The app does one thing well — it shows today's Javanese date, pasaran, wuku, and mangsa the moment you open it, backed by perpetual formulas verified against published references. A home screen widget means you often don't even need to open it.
The Kawruh section is the part I care about most: short explanations of what these cycles actually mean, so the app passes the tradition forward instead of just displaying numbers.
