Clinic Queue is a clinic queue and reservation system designed to make appointment order, arrival confirmation, and service flow more transparent.
The problem
Many clinics still manage queues through WhatsApp and manual coordination. Patients may not understand the real order of service, especially when reservations and walk-ins are mixed. This creates confusion, longer wait times, and friction for both staff and patients.
The solution
A reservation and queue platform that supports booking, arrival confirmation, queue visibility, doctor schedule management, patient records, and transaction flow.
The product is designed around the reality of clinic operations: walk-ins and reservations happen simultaneously, doctor schedules change, and patients need to understand where they are in the queue.
Core features
- Online reservation – Patients book appointments through a web interface.
- Queue calendar – Visual queue with real-time position updates.
- Patient data – Store and manage patient information.
- Arrival confirmation – Patients confirm arrival, moving them into the active queue.
- Doctor schedule – Manage doctor availability and appointment slots.
- Treatment flow – Track patient progress through the service cycle.
- Transaction records – Log payments and services.
- Admin dashboard – Full management interface for clinic staff.
Status
MVP planning stage. The product concept is defined and architecture is being designed.
What I learned
Clinic queue management is more complex than it first appears. The mix of walk-ins and reservations requires a flexible queue model. Doctor schedules add another layer of complexity. The key is keeping the interface simple for both staff and patients.
Next step
Build the MVP with a focused feature set: reservation, queue visibility, and arrival confirmation.
